I have finally been able to read my copy of 90-Day Geisha, written with great skill by my friend Chelsea Haywood, who is, like me, a Canadian living in the UK.
The book is an account of her time as a Tokyo hostess. She was just 20 years old when she took the job in order to get an insider’s account of what happens in these infamous establishments. It will probably come as no surprise that things get a bit messy, but she survives.
The book was published in English, and released in Australia, Canada, the US and Britain. It has since been translated into Dutch and Polish.
